Havana is the capital city of Cuba, and unsurprisingly, this slot is based around many aspects of the city and Cuban culture.

Of course, one thing that springs to mind immediately when you think of Havana is the long forbidden Cuban cigar. This is a large part of the game which features not one, but two cigar symbols on the reels. Other aspects of life in Havana in the game include Cuban Rum, Lime Juice, Dominoes and Maracas.

This slot looks good without quite reaching the heights of some others, although the ornate surrounding including the ‘Havana Cubana’ title is particularly effective. All the symbols are drawn and have a small amount of animation when forming part of a win line. The wild symbol in the game is a dark haired attractive female character with a flower in her hair, which adds a little bit of class to the slot. One slightly disappointing aspect to the game is the sound, with some very generic slot sounds, as opposed to anything that signifies Havana itself.

The game has two main talking points. Firstly there is the directional wild symbol which can turn a number of symbols wide and the free games, where the wilds play a major part again.

You’ll notice that this slot has 4 symbols on show for each of the 5 reels, which is slightly unusual for slots as a whole, but is a feature in many of many Bally slot games. This is an interesting slot, without really setting the world alight. The wilds in this game are what set it apart from others, with a nice original take on the feature in the standard game which is only enhanced when the free games come around. This is a low variance slot, so you’ll enjoy a large number of smaller wins without having to wait too long to achieve them, although the free games feature does take longer to hit as the scatter symbol only appears on 3 as opposed to 5 reels.
